Termite Control

Subterranean termite inspections, liquid treatments and baiting systems.

Subterranean termites are the #1 structural pest in Central Texas. Vector 1 inspects, treats and monitors termites for homes across Travis and Williamson County using both liquid termiticide barriers and in-ground baiting systems — and provides annual re-inspections to keep your home protected.

Why Central Texas Homeowners Need This

Termites cause more damage to U.S. homes than fires and storms combined, and Central Texas soils are prime termite habitat. By the time you see visible damage, colonies have usually been active for years. Annual inspection and a continuous treatment barrier is the only reliable way to protect a home in this region.

How It Works

1

Free Termite Inspection

A licensed Vector 1 technician inspects the foundation, slab penetrations, crawlspace, attic and exterior for active termites and conducive conditions.

2

Treatment Recommendation

Based on findings, we recommend a continuous liquid soil barrier, an in-ground baiting system, or a combination. We explain the warranty and re-inspection terms in writing.

3

Targeted Treatment

Liquid treatment is applied at the foundation perimeter and any slab penetrations. Bait stations are installed every 10–20 feet around the structure.

4

Annual Re-Inspections

We return yearly to inspect the property and replenish bait stations. Catching new activity early keeps small issues from becoming significant structural repairs.

Pricing Factors & What to Expect

Termite treatment is quoted per home after a free inspection. The main pricing factors are: linear footage of the foundation, construction type (slab vs. pier-and-beam), and the treatment method — liquid barrier, in-ground bait stations, or a combination. Annual re-inspections are included with active treatment warranties. Call (512) 652-6300.

Service Duration: Liquid treatment is typically completed in a single day. Bait monitoring is ongoing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I tell if I have termites or carpenter ants?

Termites have straight antennae, equal-length wings and a thick waist. Carpenter ants have bent antennae, unequal wings and a pinched waist. Mud tubes are termites; sawdust piles are carpenter ants.

How often should a Central Texas home be inspected?

Annually. Texas has heavy termite pressure and most homeowners insurance does not cover termite damage.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Our termite treatments come with a written warranty and required annual re-inspections. We'll walk you through exactly what's covered.

Do I need to leave the house?

No. Liquid soil barrier and bait station installation are outdoor work — you can stay home.
